Charmed by Providence's Last Good Tooth

Last Good Tooth is a sweet, new band formed in Providence and backed by NY-based Team Love Records. It’s been written that “the band is stunning when it comes to melodies, at carving out a line with a guitar that leads you straight into the first lyric of the songs while at the same time invoking some sort of strange Gordon Gano-ish Appalachian voodoo.”

That’s a creative band, from the Creative Capital. Here’s what happened when they got their ‘hoods:

Then they did a funny rain dance:

One of our favorites – “What’s What I Do” – is the backdrop for our own vid from Amsterdam on "How to Cleverhood." It’s a great tune that matches up perfectly with the video work of our friend Joost Olsthoorn on a particular rain cape for livable cities worldwide.

Last Good Tooth is traveling and ready for rain. Consider them a great night out if you’re in Ann Arbor, Chicago, St. Paul, Denver, Durango, Nashville…(schedule).
