The Zipster cape is an eye-popping, all-over reflective, stowable rain cape.

This garment is in the outlet because the edges of the garment are prone to a slight curling when wet. Once dry, the curling disappears. This is due to a fabric manufacturing error. When the fabric was being processed it was rolled too quickly causing tension. We tested the sample fabric, which apparently did not have this curling issue.
It does not affect the waterproofness, breathability, performance or reflectivity. |
It has all the dependability, strength and durability of our other rain capes but a lot more brash and bold. It's light, bright and has a ton of personality. Designed to be seen, lightweight, self stowing and of course waterproof and breathable. It comes in four eye-popping colors and with an all-over hand drawn SEE ME reflective print. It also has some handy snaps that create "sleeves" for those new to the wonderfully utilitarian world of capes. It also has a giant front pocket that self stows the cape.
The Zipster is easy to pack, bike-ready, waterproof, and well-suited for traveling or commuting. Waterproof fabrics, technical construction and clever features reflect Cleverhood’s emphasis on style+performance.
Strong elastic thumb loops and an interior back cinch keep the poncho secure when biking. The overall effect is great coverage, increased airflow while walking and riding.
We keep getting more and more sustainable as technology progresses. The fabric is constructed of 100% recycled polyester fibers. This durable two-layer ripstop fabric is waterproof (20K/20K) and breathable. There’s also a rugged TPU membrane and PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR). The fabric is BLUESIGN compliant. The production is all done in a WRAP certified facility making sure that not only is our product environmentally friendly but also socially sustainable.
Carefully made, it’s available in 3 height based sizes and 4 vivid colors.
