Where are your garments produced?
Our garments are made in Vietnam. All of our materials and garments are bluesign, WRAP and OEKO-TEX certified. (All those letters translate to sustainable and ethical practices for the workers, environment and customer). These are the highest environmental and labor certifications available.
For our first 11 years all our gear was made in the US. First Newark, NJ. We then moved most of our production to Oakland, CA with some projects finished in Detroit, MI and Fall River, MA. As more and more technical sewing manufacturers and technical sewists shut and quit we struggled to maintain the quality.
Once Covid hit our most trusted US manufacturing partners closed, some shifted production to solely PPE. Those that remained lost most of their most experienced, technical, elderly sewists. We then made the move to a highly qualified, highly certified sewing producer in Vietnam. We still do some special projects in Fall River, MA.
