If you know a kid who doesn’t like going to school and doing lots of homework, we have one word for you: BikeBus! It’s a way for a group of people to collectively and safely roll through town. That kid will still face mountains of knowledge, but they’ll arrive with a big, happy grin.
It’s uncanny. We know a guy who drove a bike bus right through his community and raised so much enthusiasm that the National News investigated. And he’s still going.
Sam Balto is the inspiration for our “BikeBus” collection. He is the Phys Ed teacher you wish you had. Portland knows rain and Sam helps kids gain a positive rain-or-shine approach to things.

Cleverkids feature an attached hood and ample coverage for backpacks, lunch boxes and stuff. Easy on and off, just put your head through the head hole and off you go! These special capes feature the KID BIKE BUS reflective heat transfer patch.
Like all Cleverhood rain capes, this kids rain poncho is unisex and has elastic thumb loops for rainy bike rides. Remember that the helmet goes OVER the hood for better coverage and peripheral vision.
